Hi
I have been trying to get my Wii collection onto my computer so that I can play my games with Dolphin. I tried downloading Rawdump 2.1 but each time I did the download was loaded with piggyback software that I was only able to get rid of by reformatting my computer. Is Rawdump the only program out there I can use? Or are there other programs?

You can use RawDump or FriiDump for dumping games onto your computer. However, note that only very specific DVD drives can read Wii discs, and even then through certain firmware. If you want the route that involves less headaches, use Homebrew programs like CleanRip or USBLoaderGX (what the vast majority of us do anyway). It'll be faster, and do GC games if you have a Wii capable of reading GC discs. RawDump isn't recommended since it's the hardest method to use (finding a compatible drive is the biggest issue).

Yup. Dumping from the Wii itself has been around even before RawDump. And it's still more reliable/easier.

So if I already have USB LoaderGX on the Wii and a usb flash drive then I'm already good to go?

CleanRip is recommended, as, among other niceties, it confirms the hashes of its dumps with the ones on redump.org, which'll prevent any bad-dump-induced headaches when you actually try playing the games. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/CleanRip
