Try Disabling Panic Handlers.....

Try setting the throttle back a lot. Also, try disabling dual core. That fixes it for me. It'll run much slower, so as soon as you're through that part, save and restart with dual core enabled again. The Wiki recommends trying the MMU Speed Hack, but that doesn't fix it for me.

Use DSP LLE Interpreter to get past these howling parts. For me it works flawlessly, but it's unbearably slow to play the rest of the game.
