Problem with with Direct3D9

I'm currently running Dolphin 3.0 on a laptop with an i5 and nvidia GT555M. Dolphin has run flawlessly in the past. However recently, whenever I try to use Direct3D9 plugin with the GT555M, dolphin immediately crashes. I've downloaded DirectX 9 as well as graphics drivers, but I can't even get into the graphics options of Dolphin without it crashing. Any ideas on what might be the problem or how to fix this?

Dolphin doesn't need plugin anymore
Download latest dolphin version on the main site (Dolphin 3.0 - 692) and play
Install Visual C++ 2010 32/64bit if you haven't done it already

Hey, thanks for the reply! I reinstalled vcredist, and downloaded the newest version of Dolphin. However, the game still goes to "not responding" when I click the graphics option. Is it maybe a problem with my graphics card?

It's probably a software issue :
_Save important data to External HDD
_Wipe the disk / format everything
_Start a fresh installation of windows
_Install all drivers from your notebook manufacture

I don't even know what that is! Something to do with Anti-aliasing?
