My emulator is saving VERY weirdly.
So I was playing Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, and I saved a save with 5 hours of gameplay over an old save with 3 hours of gameplay on it. I waited for the emulator to notify me that the save was successful, and just to be sure, I saved again. After seeing the emulator notify me of the save again, I reset the emulator. I tried to load my save, only to find that an even older save, with only 1 hour of gameplay on it, was the only one available. After making sure that I was using the right memory card file (of which there was only one), making sure that there were no other memory card files, and resetting several times, I declared my old file lost forever, and started the long path to regaining my lost progress. After a bit, I saved my progress, which then had 2 hours on it, and continue. Now 2 hours later, I decide to save again, and I see my old file with 5 hours on it in one of the save slots. I save in the second slot, save a state, and reset the emulator. When I try to load my progress, all I see is my file with 2 hours on it from before. I don't know what the heck is going on or why it's happening, and I especially have no idea what to do about it or how to continue going when I can't even save right, without using save states.
Of note: somewhere along the way, a second memory card file, the exact same size as the first, got created on its own. I inputted it into slot B, but any time I try to access it in-game, the game says it's corrupted and needs to be formatted.
I haven't tried with any other games, so I don't know if it's a game problem or an emulator problem, but when I play this game on a physical gamecube, it saves perfectly fine.
I am using Dolphin 5.0 x64.
