Hello,
some days ago I needed some space on the system disk, and so I decided to temporarily move Dolphin Emulator (the one with Wii folder, so the NAND) folder on another disk.
The problem is that I completely forgot about that and days later I tried to start Dolphin again and obviously there were no games, no config, nothing at all, 'cause I moved the folder.
I tried to start Mario Kart Wii in this condition and I saw the savefile was gone, it was like a fresh start (I think this piece of information it's important to solve the problem, you'll se in a minute why)
The problem is: what I did was just taking the old Dolphin Emulator folder back to his place. I got all the config back, the NAND was ok (all savefiles, all Miis). Except for one game: Mario Kart Wii. I don't know if this is the right place to post a problem that occurs for only one game, but I think it's Dolphin related cause it regards savefile. Every time I start Mario Kart Wii, it's like a blank savefile. No driving licenses, nothing. Then I tried to create a license and restart the game, and even the new savefile gets lost every restart.
I tried to restore the file not only via its folder but even importing the bin file, I even tried with an older savefile, but nothing. Every restart, the game resets. And it happened only with Mario Kart Wii, but consider that it was the only game I tried to start while having a new Dolphin Emulator folder (so not my original Wii NAND).
Any idea? And please tell me if this is the wrong place to ask this question, I'll move it wherever it has to be.
