Ahhh, random bsods, it happens in my other rig running XP x86, the problem?
Cpu reaches heat limits and decides not to go on.
(It's a shitty celeron D 2.13, but it systematically fails at 135 F, pisses me off)

Startup, specially in Vista, takes a lot of cpu time.
Try cleaning your cpu heatsink (you should do it every 6 months with no exceptions).

sooner if you have a negative (or was it positive?) airflow causing the dust to stay in the case or you have a very dusty room

Guys, but there is clearly written that this is problem with mounting of boot drive, that will be HDD. It looks like broken Windows files or hardware, in this case HDD or even motherboard or maybe theese are just bad BIOS settings (as it is also written on the screen).

Is MOUNT_BOOT_DRIVE always the reason of the bsod?
Because if it is a random error, it is more likely the cpu, if it is the same error, it's what Daco and Veeeight say.

On my computer to get to safe mode i press F8 then it asks something like
Safe mode With Command Prompt
Or Safe mode with Networking

Try the second or third option, that's just my guess.
