Problem with GC savestate (Twilight princess)

So I was running Twilight Princess quite well, thank you to the developers of this great emulator! Regularly saving state with Shift + F1 and now I seem to have lost about 3 hours of game play (somewhere in the middle of the first temple) due to the fact that I cannot load the last state that I saved, I get music but no picture. Is there any ways I can recover this state through maybe hex editing or is just broken? The version of the emulator that I was using was

It is just broken, Dolphin save states never was stable enough to replace the built in save feature of games... Now, the only thing that you can do is start again and use in-game save function to prevent these issues, not save states
