Problem with DX12 and loading times

Hello

I have a very odd problem with Dolphin that seems to be related to shader cache.

As i only have the gamecube version of Resident Evil 4 i can't test much more.
Here's the description of the problem :

First time i start Dolphin, in DirectX 12 with default settings, i double click on the game icon and the game start immediately in the render window, no problem, the game is fast and smooth on my system (it's running the best with DX12 , that's why i use it).
Then after playing a while, i quit the game, then quit Dolphin.

Next time i launch Dolphin, i double click on the game icon, this time the render window stay white for a dozen of seconds (the first time it launched into the actual game immediately), then the game is loaded and i can play without more problem.
Again after playing for a while i quit the game, then quit Dolphin.

Etc... etc... , everytime the render window stay white for a longer time before actually displaying the game. I am at a point in which it's nearly 2 minutes of waiting before the game actually appears in the render window.

What i noticed and fixes it entirely, is that if i delete the Cache folder in my C:\Dolphin-x64\User\ directory (i play with portable.txt) then the game will load immediately in the render window when i double click on its icon , no more minutes of waiting.
So it seems there's something going on with Dolphin caching shaders in DirectX12 .

Any solutions to avoid this annoyance of having to delete the cache folder everytime ?

Sounds like a bug, I assume you are using the latest development build of dolphin, do you know if it didn't used to happen?

It sounds like it's compiling shaders that you've already run into. You could try unchecking Pre-compile shaders if you haven't.

Unfortunately i never used Dolphin before as my system wasn't yet up to it, so i have no idea if it worked right before this latest build i'm using.

For the pre compile shader option, i assume you're refering to the Graphics setting "Compile Shaders before starting" , it was already unchecked.
