problem with dolphin

Can u guys help or have any suggestions how to solve the depth colour texture problem? Whenever I try to play runefactory frontier, an error would pop up sayin cannot create depth colour texture and it is quite slow. I'm using direct x9.c with direct 3D9 plugin Dolphin r5186.Please help!I can't play with this speed!

I have the same error in any build higher than 4698 while playing New Super Mario world 1-4.. I find all the 5x builds very unstable, they constantly crash for me.

Only way to fix this problem is by switching to OpenGL plugin. Problem is solved instantly.

And there seems to be certain doubts that this problem is pretty much exclusive to certain video cards series... If you could post your GPU, that'd be helpful for future research.

I did try the openGL before but a problem pops up saying 'Can't open OpenGL Rendere, you must be missing Opengl extemsions, check logs for more info' So I used Directx.

update your gfx (video card)driver to use opengl if Nvidia or Ati.Intel has directx9 only(post your gfx please)

Hey,that crap have directx 8.1,shader1.3(don't talk about opengl even not really support dx9 what the h..l)sorry Intel HD atleast
Edit: try N64 emu (directx 6,7,8 support)

Well that is the problem friend.. SiS mirage series chipset has from 16 to 32mb of video ram, has no dx9.0c support (but can have up to dx9 unlike posted above), only openGL 1.5 support, & it does not support vertex shaders at all.

I'm surprised you can run any game at all made after 2006-2007 (not just dolphin) on the computer.

A really smart thing to do, would be to buy a cheap ati 4000 series card for about $45 dollars, or a nvidia 8000-9000 series card. If you just casually play some games, it will last you a long time, and dolphin will run fine.

Oh! Thanks for ur help!Yep I could play most of the games.(Of course, ended up not finishing each game as I play different games at once.)But are you sure is the graphics card problem? I mean it is said that only intel users get these problems such as cannot create renderer, depth colour texture problem.If the only problem is this problem and the speed will go fine too, then i will fix it. Anyway. thx.

It supports 1.5 openGL,with vs_2_0, ps_2_0. I was asking for help, not this kind of answer.
