problem with controller

Hi, i'm actually using my ps3 controller on my computer ( yes, you can already do that xd) and i configured the buttons so i could play like i ¡f i had a normal gc controller... but when i started metroid prime in the first area, i have to press left arrow to scan a thing.. but when i do that on my controller nothing happens.. only map opens.. and same if i use up or down arrows.. tryed all the buttons but can't make it work.

same problem in Resident evil... left arrow isn't working.. it opens map instead of turning left.
