I have a problem when running Wii resort sports. I get this message and it repeats over and over again . It is a 3 minute video and it never goes to the actual game. This was working until I installed the Wii ios, Wii menu and Mii channel. I tried reinstalling it agian but I got the same video. Please help me.
Problem Wii Resort Sports

Wii Sports Resort requires the Wii Motion+ to play, so make sure you've got that covered first. You can either use a real one via bluetooth with Dolphin (along with a sensor bar of some sort), or you can use the latest development revisions of Dolphin which can emulate Wii Motion+ controls.
In any case, upgrading to the latest development revision is generally recommended. 5.0 is years old at this point, and missing a great deal of new features and bug fixes.
edit: aaarg, the best ideas always come after posting: Have you tried using an online system update from Dolphin's tool menu? You might be missing some IOS and the update would install all of them properly.
The image doesn't show, but i suspect it's a stupid video how to use the WM+ and the wristband? On a real Wii, you need to have watched that video once, and then it writes something to NAND. If this doesn't work properly, there might be some NAND issue in Dolphin or some es_launch issue, since the game uses es_launch to switch between the game and the video player. Can you create an empty portable.txt file and place it next to the Dolphin.exe? This will make Dolphin not use your settings, NAND and stuff, but use a local copy in the program's folder for all this. And then repeat the steps that you did one by one and see which one causes the bad behaviour. That information might help to fix the issue. To revert back to normal just delete the portable.txt file again. Reverting the changes that you did, while keeping your savefiles is a bit complicated. That's all stored in NAND. You might fix the issue by deleting the NAND, but that would also delete your savefiles. First make a backup of "C:\Users\*insert your username*\Documents\Dolphin Emulator" so you can go back, if you make a mistake or can't get it to work. The nand is in the "Wii" folder and the savefiles(and the system menu and channels) should be in "Wii\title". I would try deleting everything in the Wii folder except the title folder, even if that's a bit messy. PS: I can see the picture when replying, but i can't see it in the thread... 04-27-2020, 07:39 AM
Thanks so I can run Wii resort sport! I just updated Dolphin. But now I get to the start and it tells me to plug in wii motion plus. I am using a real wii remote and it has the wii motion plus block attached and I wont let me get passed it. I used the wii remote to navigate before i got here but now I cant get passed it.

Try detaching and re-attaching the Motion-Plus extension while in the game. Also try it without a Nunchuck attached... There are some strange issues with that.
