Problem to play zelda twilight princess

First, I apologize if my English is not good.

The problem: when starting the game between the title screen and the game screen, a text appears that according to the emulator configuration recognizes (or not) the memory card, and the problem is that I cannot move the cursor to select the confirmation, always stays on the "no" option
I have tried downloading another rom, even from I have changed to the USA region (I wanted the game in Spanish) I have changed the config, I have tried if the problem is the control but it does not seem to be the case
Ideas?
