simple question
is there a reason why an emulated wiimote wont fall back to exact centerscreen?

if it could do that then playing the primes trilogy would be a lot easier for gamepad users

but no matter what it wants to defalt just outside of center

That is why in the latest development version there are a couple of settings: Pitch, Yaw, Vertical center, Deadzone for you to configure.

I'm using a wired (original) 360 controller and for me it centers perfectly.

Have you tried calibrating the controller in Windows, sometimes Windows might think your controller is at an offset of the center.

For Windows 10 go to "Start", type in "Set up USB game controllers" and open it, select the controller you want to use, click "Properties", select the "Settings"-tab and click "Calibrate..." then follow the prompts on screen.

im using a wireless bluetooth xbox one controller
even with 50% deadzone it is still off center so it isnt anything to do with calibrating my controller

there is a setting ingame that makes the pointer auto center for enemies that dont need free aim but that doesnt fix the problem for enemies that do need it

Did you try the Windows 10 calibration? Even if it says USB game controller it will still work for your Wireless/Bluetooth controllers as well.

if my controller works perfectly with dolphin as a game cube controller then its something to do with the emulated wiimote
edit: or the game
