Thats a huge mousepad. Also you should get a friend for her. She looks so lonely.

Is that... chips I see there on your desk? Clean up lol.
Nice keyboard, that's also a midi controller isn't it? 02-01-2015, 05:35 AM

keyboard is a cheap synth (~$450 I think it was on launch?) which I am using as a midi controller, and those aren't chips. That's the wood of my desk, I used to not have a coaster and I drink in my room a lot.

If it is, I think its speakers should sound better than the cheap ones on our desk. (if it has an audio input, you could try using that keyboard as an amp + speaker set) 02-01-2015, 06:03 AM

No, it's a CTK-591. Speakers are crap and there's no audio in, and I use headsets anyways. Either way, the speakers are pretty good. Really old but not bad by any means.
EDIT: speakers on my desk are good speakers on the ctk-591 are bade

@DefenderX
>phantom menace calendar >macbook >ipad >exposure to natural light Get out. Might as well join in. Here's a quickie from my smartphone with no reorganizing for fairness. Not going to break out the DSLR for this:

>has a book about wiring
>wiring is all over the place But srsly, I was expecting your place to be a bit cleaner. You do not disappoint with your books though, damn. Never thought you'd be that serious with your aquarium stuff. Also what the heck is that duck thing next to the Wine book? I spy with my eye a NES box for something. What GPU is that on your desk? Nice Bob-omb. 02-01-2015, 06:50 AM

Garteal Wrote:>has a book about wiring lol. It's a NECS (national electric code standards) book for home electrical wiring. What you're thinking of would be cabling, not wiring. Garteal Wrote:But srsly, I was expecting your place to be a bit cleaner. Ha. You clearly don't know me very well. This is the most organized it's been in months. Garteal Wrote:You do not disappoint with your books though, damn. Pfft. That doesn't include my other shelves, the boxes full of college/high school textbooks sitting in my closet that I was too lazy to sell, or all the stuff on my kindle (these days I only buy physical books when I have no other choice). Garteal Wrote:Never thought you'd be that serious with your aquarium stuff. Also what the heck is that duck thing next to the Wine book? "Birds of the Everglades Identification Guide" Some if the stuff on the bottom shelves is stuff from my dad or sister since they had no where to put it and just gave it to me. My dad is a biologist and did a lot of nature walking/bird watching back in the day so that's why I have that one. I suppose one day I should send them a list and have them go through it to see what I can throw out (probably nearly all of it). It kicked the bucket and I've been too lazy to go to the post office to RMA it. I'm using the GT 640 that I took from the HTPC for now (which has performed surprisingly well in most of the games that I have played). Garteal Wrote:Nice Bob-omb. Thanks. That along with the NES case is also full of candy and also a gift from my sister.
