Possible to restore a dolphin gamecube session from a dolphin cache file?

My son accidentally closed out the dolphin window when he was playing before saving the game. Is it possible to restore dolphin's memory from this cache file in Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Cache\GZLE01.uidcache? It is dated right before he closed the window.

Nope. That cache contains shader data (related to graphics emulation), it won't have any game state that you can load to recover save data...
