I am able to connect my instruments to play clone hero on my PC. Im wondering if I can do the same with Wii? I have bluetooth dongles for both xbox360 and xbox one, real wiimote, dolphin sensor bar, and im getting a new blouetooth dongle for Wii soon. How do I connect eveything if its possible? Will the rock band/guitar hero instruments work on guitar hero/rock band?

If you can connect the instruments to Clone Hero, then I believe you can connect them to Dolphin in the same way and set them up as emulated Guitar Hero instruments (Wii Remote extensions). Do note that, since they will be treated as Guitar Hero instruments, you will not be able to play Rock Band 1, and the Guitar Hero games will have 5-lane drums. The only way I know of to get games to think that you are using Rock Band instruments is to use actual Wii (not Xbox) Rock Band instruments, but I could be wrong.

EDIT: Oh, and I should mention that the above applies to all instruments except microphones. For microphones, use USB passthrough. There is no functional difference between Guitar Hero/Rock Band or Xbox/Wii/PlayStation microphones.

So would I connect the guitar via my xbox one dongle? Im confused as to how to actually get this set up.

Yes, I believe you do that, and then you go into the Emulated Wii Remote settings, set the extension to Guitar, and map the buttons of the extension. But I've never used an Xbox controller myself, so I'm not sure how the step where you connect the guitar to your computer actually works.

Thank you. I got it working. I used this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpcgA-keShs and then mapped buttons in Dolphin.
