Is there any way to add Action Replay codes for the Android version of Dolphin Emulator? If there is, I'm hoping to test out some cheat codes for Super Mario Sunshine to see if it runs well with these codes enabled (cheat codes are shown here: http://geckocodes.org/?c=GMSE01)

I believe you can use them, but you have to enable them in the .ini's

I did see "EnableCheats" in "Dolphin.ini"; however, even if I do turn it on, I still won't be able to use any Action Replay codes since it's not added to the Android UI, unless there's an alternative to adding cheat codes.

You have to tell each code to manually enable, I don't remember how to do this (in the game .ini's not dolphin settings).

Unless the ability to easily add your own Action Replay code is implemented to Android UI, it's just not worth the time trying to figure out how to manually add and enable cheat codes.

I attempted to add the AR codes for Super Mario Sunshine to a game.ini file and even set "EnableCheats" to "True", but I was unable to succeed in enabling the code. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong as I added the .ini to the GameSettings folder and nothing occurred when I ran Super Mario Sunshine.

I'm also looking for cheats support,as I splurged on a Christmas/Birthday combo on Black Friday to get a Shield TV Pro at Best Buy,and I am actually replying with it in this comment via Opera for Android.

I love playing Brawl so much on it,even though I can't root just yet (demn USB requirement before wireless ADB!) to fix the flaws of defaults such as the measly 200Mhz GPU clock scaling i've read about.
I wanna mess around in Brawl with Y to stand in air, mushroom stacker, action mods (111=flying mode debug movement),and move swaps.
I wonder if the Mupen64Plus AE devs for the UI changes would collab to create the cheat UI for it,would they do it?
Even then, creating a helper app to manage the cheats and download them from WiiRD cheat database would be really nice.

An issue too, entering settings from the blue menu on the left when a game is running does not work for me.
This prevents me from changing post-processing effects in realtime, which I can confirm works on PC.

You replaced $ with +, AFAIK it's $+ to enable it...

Edit3: I recently found out that the design changed and no longer uses +$ to enable cheats.

Instead it uses [Gecko_Enabled] and [ActionReplay_Enabled] respectively.

Having the UI to edit cheats would work wonders for simplifying use.
I know the pain of manually editing cheats on the actual console years ago using that limited explorer homebrew with the annoying line break instead of Enter. *shudders*

Simpsons Hit and Run doesn't work, where is the MMU speed hack setting,it is missing in the UI and Dolphin ini,is it available within the game's config file?
The MMU speed hack is also missing on Windows in the latest master EmuCR build.
On Android,I get a static frame of the initial loading screen and nothing else on a latest 4.0 master build from yesterday or a day before.

Edit2: Sorry about my annoying whining. I found the directory which does not require root. in /sdcard/dolphin-emu/GameSettings/"game ID".ini

Edit: Me am so a-dumbid.

The right directory on Android...

/sdcard/dolphin-emu/GameSettings/"game ID".ini

The right way to enable at least Gecko codes, but it is frustratingly still not working for some reason...

[Gecko]
$Cheat One
01234567 89ABCDEF
$Cheat Two
01765432 FEDCBA98
[Gecko_Enabled]
$Cheat One

Only "Cheat One" is enabled in this scenario.
The question for ISuperMarioI is how to enable cheats for Action Replay?

Here is what the latest EmuCR build for Windows returns to me in the ini file...

[ActionReplay_Enabled]
$P1 - Invincible

You are welcome. Smile

Now let's hope the cheats backend can be fixed on Android soon.
