Portal issue on skylanders swap force

Hi hopefully someone is still around that knows anything about this, i have followed all the tutorials for setting up a portal to work with this but when i get to the main menu it rapidly flashes that the portal is disconnected-reconnected-disconnected.

ive used zadig to change the driver over, and its a PS3 portal for swap force.
any help would be hugeely appreciated thanks!

I am trying it right now, but my gba bios is not working properly for some reason.
