If you are using mw2 as a expression of how sucky steam is then that is variable issue to discern (its a well known knowledge that mw2 is not a fault through steam but through the developer choice to not use dedicated servers which is a staple of even valve made games.) If its on problems on games specifically as was stated by a member above then that is a issue all onto itself. Its one thing to be objective in your point of view as you just did but its another to post a subjective statement that "blah blah sucks nuff said". That is two separate formulas. One makes you look like a troll. The other makes a constructive post. I have no problem in someone having a fault with something. I have my faults with objects too but throwing out 4 word "it suck statements" is anti productive and pushing ignorance even in the boisterous and hilariousness of Delfino plaza.

It really boils down to being held to a standard of appearance and the association of it. When members with thousands of post on this forum make statements like that, it puts a disrespectful tone to all those who are within that same scope. Notice, my intent is not in you bringing up a problem you had but to not troll in on your statement. As I can easily see, you are easily capable to stating more then "it sucks balls.. nuff said.

Doom 3 sucks anyways Tongue, its just a Doom 2 remake but the levels are more cramped and tedious, the story just stops progressing for most of the game, really its hardly even a story. Also without music, you get really bored too.
I have DOOM 3 for Xbox (the old one) and I just wanted to see how the pc version would look on my brand new laptop. Tongue I like the game enough to play through it again.

It does pay to have the ultimate edition though, comes with DOOM and DOOM II.

I've been trying some other stuff with Steam, I can boot the Just Cause 2 demo, Psychonauts demo and Portal just fine. It's still just D.i.R.T. 2 and DOOM 3 not booting. Weird stuff.

Hmm, well it would look sharper on PC compared to XBOX but then you notice more how older the graphics look. I have gotten to the final place, but they took the weapons and I gave up Tongue (I still want my BFG 9000 Tongue)

I suppose I should consider looking up the definition of a "troll", I in no way see myself as one. Misunderstandings occur regularly when communicating though means of writing. Subjective on the other hand, is something we can agree on.
Seeing how it is delfino plaza, i posted a rather bland statement. I wouldn't dare say something such as that on a more... imperative thread.
