Also without music, you get really bored too.

what? I liked doom3 and it was pretty good for its time, that game will scare the shit out of you, but the final boss is too easy though.

I've been trying some other stuff with Steam, I can boot the Just Cause 2 demo, Psychonauts demo and Portal just fine. It's still just D.i.R.T. 2 and DOOM 3 not booting. Weird stuff. 05-15-2010, 09:28 AM

sucks balls? I highly doubt that especially seeing how the Pc market has changed in the last 6 years, the discounts on many games on steam especially weekend deals, lack of taxes for many people, and built allowing a equal Pc community. Now add in mac users being able to have a better avenue then going to best buys/frys etc to get a mac computer game (yes the mac gaming market is ultra small but its there nonetheless). If anything steam is awesome more then... it sucks balls. Compared to the other online distributions of impulse driven, EA game store, and direct 2 drive; its the number one platform for online game buying and playing. Could you elaborate more on your subjective statement diddy?

Could you elaborate more on your subjective statement diddy? Well, when pertaining to quaility rather than quantity, yes steam sucks its fair share of balls. Sure anyone can manage to dig out and excavate the dormant "good" from a pile of crap, but unfortunately when considering the complaint of a post above, i (by the way) was refering to, Your post couldn’t possibly get anymore irrelivant. Yes looking at steam quality wise, it does "suck balls", at its current state, it is in no way a reliable source. As said above via apos, steam's crappy servers took a toll on him. Also, speaking as a current and often user of the ball sucking product, i can say its failure services are not up to par for my mw2 needs. I can not recall having a 4 week streak, of playing on a crash/lagg free, and efficient game on steam. (Supported games, not the addable and preferred "non-steam games") My prior statement was not meant to offend you, as it clearly did, though i did not expect nor want to attract your attention.
