Poor Wii Remote Audio Quality Using Original Bluetooth Module in Passthrough Mode

Hey everyone! 

Recently, I purchased a pair of Wii Remotes from AliExpress, which had many good reviews. I attempted to use them in Dolphin with my Bluetooth USB 5.3 adapter, but as you may already know, they didn't work very well, especially when it comes to the remote's audio.

After conducting some research, I realized that to achieve the best original Wii experience, I would need to obtain an original Bluetooth module. So, that's exactly what I did—I purchased an original Bluetooth module and connected it to a USB port following this guide. It worked flawlessly, except for two recurring issues:

1. The remote's audio functions but frequently fails, and sometimes it doesn't work at all.
   
2. Particularly during table tennis gameplay, the remote tends to lose center alignment after a few shots, and I have to keep recentering it almost every time I'm playing.
   

My primary concern is with the audio problem, but I mentioned the table tennis issue to see if there might be any connection between the two.

Now, let me share what I've tried to resolve these issues (none of the following solutions worked for me):

1. Disconnecting my Bluetooth USB 5.3 adapter (as I suspected it might be causing interference).
   
2. Disconnecting and reconnecting the module.
   
3. Resetting and syncing the controller multiple times.
   
4. Getting very close to the module (practically touching it) and testing.
   

For the table tennis problem, I also attempted the following:

1. Blocking the infrared sensor on my TV.
   
2. Changing the sensor's position from below to on top.
   

I managed to solve all my other issues so far, but these two are really bothering me, and I can't seem to figure out what to do next.

P.S.: I plan to borrow my friend's original controller and test it today. If it works perfectly, unfortunately, it may be an issue with my controller. I will update here after my tests.

Just to make sure, are you using Bluetooth Passthrough? It's the only mode which allows for perfect Wiimote audio (especially when paired with the BT module from a real Wii)...

Yes. I did all the config necessary to do it.
 
Installed the libusbK driver through Zadig and setup Passthrough mode in Dolphin

After more testings, I can say that it wasn't my remote.

Turns out that I buyed a simple small plastic case for my module not to be exposed with all that wiring, and that case was interfering the signal. After I removed it, the sound got a lot better. But after about 15 minutes playing, sound stopped completely. Really don't know what's going on. I also tried installing WinUSB instead of libusbK, but didn't change much.

I don't know if this has something to do with it, but I remeber that the guy I paid to wired the module for me, said that it didn't needed to connect all 3 ground wire as it was saying in this forum. Maybe that's what's causing this? Or maybe because the linear regulator is too close that is causing signal interference?

Also my issues with table tennis still persisted.

Can you post a picture of your finished module? It'll be easier to see what can be done...

Always use some usb extension cable. If module is too close to the pc case, it could have too much electromagnetic interference.
