personally, i think the fact that xp doesnt support dx10 and 11 is nothing more than a gimmick to get people to buy 7. overall, i get 2x performance in dx9 games in xp when compared to 7. alas, i am stuck using 7 =(

**edit** who is using other? if it isnt a linux distro and its not mac... they must be using windows 3.11 or dos 3 or something
