PS2,GameCube and Xbox

are the consoles of the past genaration but sad to say not all of em are emulated properly yet but the xbox is the only one that has not seen the light of day in emulation so heres my poll for u guy's

what do you guy's think will happen to xbox emulation in the next lets say 2 years

I remember way back when at NG emu that somebody said that its the xbox that will get the first working emu among those three since its just a pc he well we all know the xbox is not just a pc
hell I even remember a few fools saying that a working gamecube emu will not see the light of day sure prove em wrong right not only did you make a working gamecube emu you also made into a working WII emu sure prove em wrong right so what do you guys think about the xbox emulation in the next 2 years to come will a legendary coder appear out nowhere and give us a working emu or will it just never happen

ps: I know about cxbx/dxbx emu but these emu's have much problems and errors to be even considered working

Is making a xbox emulator even worth the trouble? Is anyone looking forward to one? I can't imagine an xbox emulator being in a programmer's TO-DO list.

Also, anyone can get an original xbox on a swap-meet for about 10 dollars lol.

and yes, I too know about all those other projects, but the lack of interest from the public is what probably killed them or has them stagnated.

There certainly isn't any demand for an Xbox emulator (what with there being well, few Xbox games worth emulating save for a few PC available titles).

But it wouldn't surprise me if someone gave it a crack, some emulators are made out of curiousity.

Dolphin started out as a sluggish Gamecube emulator, remember? It was dead for a while too until it was open-sourced, now look at it!

Given that there's a lack of demand, and a probable lack of interest, we may not see a working Xbox emulator for a long time.

well blueshogun is definitely trying his best although slow progressing emu of his the cxbx written in delphi has potential cuz it already boots and play 2-3 games although has a few SPS and freeze
I remember way back at 2006 that it only plays one game and its turok evolution though it freezes in rge 6th stage took him more than a year to make futurama and in the new year made panzer dragon ortha boot with perfect sound but with nasty SPS

and I think every console of that generation should be virtualized cuz almost all home gaming console's has been emulated so think the xbox should not be an exception heck even the sega saturn has working emu's I remember back at 2003 everyone though that a working one wont appear but SFF and YABAUSE made it happen so lets not say that it wont happen. I just hope somewhere in the future a coder with the skills and knowledge appear that would help blueshogun in his project or make his own emulator I dont care aslong as it works
