What is the policy on warnings? Do they go away after a certain amount of posts or a certain amount of time? Or is it up to the mods discretion?

My warning points recently dropped so I was curious what happened.

Usually 1 month for templated warnings (backseat moderating, creating idiotic threads, flaming, off-topic talk), but mods are free to chose whatever expiration time they like if they give a custom warning.

Ok thanks.

You and stars cream scared the hell out of me for a second there. I watched the "Who's Online" list to see who was reading my thread. First ss reads my thread. Then he warns a user. Then you read my thread. Then you warn a user. I thought for a second there I was about to get owned.

Anyway, thanks for the info.
