Hi all

I subscribed to ask this question because i'm really interested in this game from really long time and finally I got the right equipments to play it on PC.

I just downloaded the emulator 5 days ago to play Pokemon XD gale of darkness but somehow the speed isn't that much for me, like 13-17 fps
and 20-25 fps in battles... Using official version of dolphin 2.0

But I just read the (Perfect on Dolphin) thread and I saw Pokemon XD gale of darkness listed there as perfect game, but the point I want to make here is that, the region is EUR aka PAL, right?
But I have the NTSC-U of Pokemon XD gale of darkness, and I wonder if this difference of regions really makes big deal in game play.

Do I need to have the EUR region of the game? and whats the difference?
Has anybody tested this game? and whats your results?

I thought this might be helpful since I've wondered about getting pokemon xd gale of darkness running. At the moment I've got a Dell XPS computer. With Quad core and turbo boost so My computer thinks I've got 8 CPUs, they're core i7s at 2 ghz each, Intel HD Family Graphics card 8gb of RAM and dolphin 7607. Also xd is recognised as a US edition. It plays well even with dual core checked and the audio is good. I found the audio buggy in colosseum. The FPS varies between 15ish to 60ish but it stills runs smoothly. Speed also varies between 40-50%ish up to 100%. I hope this helps someone else.

P.S Anyone looking for the game or any game, try google. It is out there just look.

i'm having graphical anomalies with XD, lines of "clear" graphics, when walking around, and in battle, it's gorgeous, but some special effects make the FPS drop to 1-12 and game speed to around 20%.

i am running the 3.0 64bit release. subsequent daily builds have not helped at all. some have actually made it worse trying to play this game.
i have a HP laptop, AMD II cpu 2.2ghz 4 GB ram ati mobility GPU with .5GB, it seems to run fine, a bit slow, just walking around, besides the graphics problems.

i've tried several options with different vid plug-ins and nothing seems to fix it, so far it seems to work best on D3D9 on fullscreen at 1366x768 internal res set to 1x and anti aliasing off and ansiotropic filtering set to 1x.

in the screenshot, u can see the "jagged" lines that's where the walls should appear normally, and he lines on the floor seem to "float" as you walk around making it look really weird, but the game is playable. just slow

Here is my setup for the game:
Lectrode's r7676 SSE3 x64 Build

Game runs @100% speed, although there are (for me) major texture artifacts during battle when special attacks are used.
