Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness Cutscene Crash

Hi. I just recently got into this whole emulator business, and I am having trouble running Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness on my Mac OS X. The game loads fine and runs well until Lugia's first cutscene (when his eye turns red shoots the ship) and then the games just quits on itself.

I have 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i5 processor
4 GB 1333 HHz DDR3 Memory
Standard MacBook Pro (version 10.7.2)
I'm also running the 3.0-638 version of the Dolphin.

I think this is all the information that I need to provide, but don't hesitate to holla if I missed something!

Is there a way to fix this problem? Or should I run a different version of the Dolphin?

Thank you!

Specifically, click the Config button and look at General tab. Also click the Graphics tab and look at the General, Enhancements, and Hacks tabs.

However, there's probably not much settings will help with. According to the Dolphin Wiki, this is a known issue for Macs. If you can, try skipping the cut-scene if possible (dunno about that, I have this game but never played it). Otherwise, play it on a different OS. You can save your game to the emulated memory card when you're on another OS and just pick up where left off when you switch back to OS X.

What should I do when looking at the General Tab? Is there anything I should turn off/on?
I tired to skip the cut scene, but I don't think it's possible. Sad

Perhaps I wasn't clear. :p You're supposed to look at those settings so you can tell us what you have. But like I said, Dolphin on OS X crashes on this game with the intro. If settings could fix this, I think someone would have found it by now (though maybe there aren't enough OS X users testing this game). Just keep that info in mind the next time you make a thread; those are the settings we need from you.

If you have access to a Windows (or Linux) OS, I'd suggest you play this game on Dolphin on that. Once you get past the intro, you can either keep playing on that OS, or save in-game (e.g. save like you would normally on a GC) and copy Dolphin's emulated memory card (it's just a file somewhere in your Dolphin's "User" folder) over to OS X and resume playing.
