Sad
Hi guys! It's been a while.

So I recently got the newest version of Dolphin (as of this post) 4.0-6112, and tried launching Pokemon Colosseum, both on Direct 3D and OpenGL, in respective order. When I get to the part where you walk into the bar in the Outskirt Stand, it would just go black, hang, and my frame rate woul drop to 0. I've tried both using a save state to load OpenGL graphical settings, but that just causes the textures to stretch horribly out of place, so I tried running it in just Open GL, starting a new game over again. This time when entering the Outskirt Stand bar, it just has Dolphin Crash completely. I can't think of anything else to fix it. I don't recall having issues on an earlier version of Dolphin, unfortuantely it was a while ago, and so many versions have been released since.

I also see no issues listed on the Wiki, meaning it must be outdated by a bit. Huh

Anyone else able to reproduce, or at least have a fix for this? Thanks guys! Big Grin

Sounds like a broken ISO. Have you verified it?

If you mean using the Checksum, or removing and downloading a newer version, then yes, I have. I don't see any other way of 'verifying' an ISO. The issue still remains. :/

The ban has been lifted, as it was given in error. Naru2008, please be sure to use the correct terminology from now on. We take piracy very seriously around here, as you can tell. The way you worded it makes it sound like you were involved in breaking forum rules. We're zero-tolerance because we don't want any trouble from any gaming companies. That said, it was a mistake on both ends.

As for your problem, have you tried the stable release (4.0.2)? How does that run? 4.0.2 is not an ideal version of Dolphin to use by any means, but it may allow you to play things without issue. If the crashes can be reproduced, it means a regression has sneaked its way into Dolphin somehow; hopefully it can be pinpointed and ironed out soon if so.

No problem. I'm not without fault, but it's done and over with. You did what you had to.

I found the issue, it seems one of the AR Codes was making it crash upon entrance of the bar. I tried 4.0.2, it still happened, so I tried disabling codes, and it worked just fine. You can re-close the thread now. Simply an AR code that doesn't work all that well with the game. Smile
