Pokémon Colosseum Link doesn't work, right?

I uploaded my Memory Card through GCMM, imported it, and I'm trying to trade with the GBA games (VBA-M).
However, it says the connection failed.
I tried running my Zelda Four Swords Adventures, and it works.
So, I would like to ask, will there be a fix in a future version of Gamecube?
(PS: I'm using the latest SVN version(as of now))
