Even you if download the latest build, you will (most likely) not be able to play anything comfortably.
Most games have occasional and significant FPS dips while running on NVidia Shield TV. Seeing how it's the most powerful device currently on the market, I doubt your device will be able to keep up even with that.
From what I understand there's a significant bottleneck with current hardware, so it will take a year or two until the technology catches up.
