I am needing help setting up the virtual Wiimote for New Super Mario Bros.. I can setup the buttons and control pad just fine, but what I can not figure out how to do is set up the controls for the swinging motion. I would like to use the L&R shoulder buttons to swing left and right respectively to control the rocking motion on the rocking bridges. Could somebody please tell me which setting in the configuration menu would achieve this, or if it is possible to do it at all with a control pad? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I think what you want is to assign your shoulder buttons to the "tilt" functionality in the WiiMote configuration screen. Assigned them to "Left" and "Right". That's what I used to do before I got a good BT adapter that allowed me to use my WiiMotes.

Excellent.  It's amazing how flexible dolphin's control options are to make almost any game work satisfactorily with an xbox or playstation controller, but it can take lots of trial and error to get things just like you want them.
