So, I have been trying over the last couple of days to find a solution. I have an official nintendo wii remote plus and can't get it to sync with my pc. I have tried repeatedly to get it to work with no luck. I did a few google searches and tried blue soleni which didn't work. The nintendo drivers have not been installed as nothing happens when I try to pair the controller. I have noticed some people mentioning 4 blinking lights, well I only have 3 blinking lights.

The other strange thing is that I don't have the bluetooth generic symbol anywhere. But, Bluetooth definitely works as I am using a Logitech wireless mouse, and keyboard quite often.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Oh, and specific settings or anything I should avoid doing?

I installed Toshiba Bluetooth stack but am still having problems. I keep getting a message: "Please plug in the Bluetooth device and click OK Button. So I have tried pushing both 1 + 2 buttons on the wii motion plus and then clicking ok. The driver goes for a few seconds and the same message comes up. I try again this time pressing the pair button on my wii motion plus, but still get the same message after a few seconds.

Do you use an other bluetooth dongle or your Logitech dongle? I think the logitech dongle is reserved to Logitech Device

http://www.wiimoteproject.com/bluetooth-and-connectivity-knowledge-center/a-summary-of-windows-bluetooth-stacks-and-their-connection/ Wrote:Logitech Stack
Overview:
  • Logitech bundled this with some of their early Bluetooth Mice & Keyboards. It was packaged with the 'Setpoint' (Logitech drivers and application bundle)
  • Only works with Logitech devices and the Logitech Bluetooth Hub (a massive ugly Bluetooth radio)
  • Will NOT connect to Wiimote (or any other Bluetooth device), but your Logitech devices WILL connect to all other Bluetooth stacks

on other hand I see
  • Quote:
    • Logitech MX Bluetooth Mouse/Keyboard combo (dongle m/n:c-uv35) - WIDCOMM (Had trouble with with WIDCOMM 5.0.1.2800 drivers under XP). Works fine with BlueSoleil 3.2.2.8 stack version 05.04.11.20060413 WIDCOMM drivers would not pair. In the bttl.ini file you must modify one of the USB device VID and PID to VID=046D PID=C709 and rename the Manufacture to Logitech then start Bluesoleil. It will recognize it then. If Wiimote dosent show up, to to Tools...Find Device... and search by name "Nintendo". It will show up. Don't pair it, just click connect. Also, one important note, as you plug in the dongle, hold the red connect button to put it in dongle mode rather than embedded mode for keyboard and mouse.). Works fine with Toshiba Stack, Version 6.10.07.2. As with BlueSoleil, you have to plug it in with dongle mode instead of embedded. Widcomm worked but turned not only my system unstable(for certain them, nothing else), thus BlueSoleil or Toshiba recommended.
    • Logitech LBT-UA200C1 - Works with Bluesoleil.

edit: forget about the first quote, that talk about application(software), not the dongle(hardware)

I only use Logitech dongles. Do I need a separate dongle for the wii motion plus? So I need to download BlueSoleil 3.2.2.8 stack version 05.04.11 And modify the ini?

I have tried all 3 version of toshibastack listed in your link, after doing full uninstalls of each of course using revo uninstaller. None have allowed me to connect my wii motion plus controller. Toshibastack never even installs the nintendo driver. I continue to get the same message "Please plug in the Bluetooth device and click OK Button. So I have
tried pushing both 1 + 2 buttons on the wii motion plus and then
clicking ok. The driver goes for a few seconds and the same message
comes up. I try again this time pressing the pair button on my wii
motion plus, but still get the same message after a few seconds.

Is it like the last picture on my tutorial?

You have to click OK then press any button on Wiimote (not 1+2)

This is wrong, at this point of the bluetooth stack install you havent even installed the program yet. the device it is referring to is your bluetooth radio, not you wiimote. You are having an install problem, nothing else.

Toshiba Stack can't recognize your dongle
Logitech dongle has a specific code that work only with Logitech keyboard/mouse . It will not work with other devices (At least I tried)
You will need another BT dongle . However , not all BT dongle work with Wiimote , you will have to rely on your luck
