What kind of freeze are you experiencing?
Anyway, to fix the map, use EFB2Ram; certain recorders (*coughfrapscough*) can corrupt EFB data; but usually their latest updates can fix it (see OBS, who actually did fix a problem like that. Thanks OBS guys!)
As for the freezing, Dolphin tends to freeze for me when I'm recording a ton of information to my harddrive while playing games. If you're using Fraps in particular, it's very, very easy to simply crash dolphin by recording at too high of quality. I do not know why this happens, but I've confirmed it to happen in multiple games.
IF you're not recording and it's still crashing, you may have a bad ISO or something along those lines. RachelB is our resident Twilight Princess Expert (at least for the GameCube version.)
