dolphin doesn't include the vc++ redist or the directx runtimes that are needed, you must install them yourself.

I am surprised that even as a computer technician you do not realize that error 0xc000007b is caused by using a 32bit dll with a 64bit application.

To fix your problem, remove all of the downloaded dll files that you randomly placed throughout your system (again as a computer technician you should know better than this). Install the visual c++ 2010 SP1 redistributable package x64 and the latest directx runtimes (XInput1_3.dll is part of this)

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)
DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)

Did you check whether the installer actually placed the file there?
Also, maybe you installed the 32/64 bit version of the redistributable package but need the 64/32 one?
On Linux at least, the dynamic linker will tell you it didn't find a library even if the library *file* is there in case that file hasn't been built for the correct platform.

Why did you dig out this old thread >.>

Anyway, did you try the latest git version of Dolphin? Did you try to redownload Dolphin 3.0? We need more information.

Hello, I'm from Brazil and I have this same problem.
I'm going to format my system again (W7 x64) and install only the files necessary to run the Dolphin.
What exactly are they so errors will not occur? I'm not experienced in this matter.
Thank you for your attention. And I apologize for resurrecting the topic, but was the most complete that I found on this topic.

You shouldn't be using 3.0 anymore, you should be using 3.5 now -> http://dolphin-emu.org/download/

You can find solutions to common issues here -> http://dolphin-emu.org/docs/faq/#application-has-failed-start-because-sdldll-was-no

The problem also occurs in version 3.5, just does not happen in version 2.0 that is already outdated, and the x32 versions.

Thank you for your attention

(03-05-2012, 10:00 AM)neobrain Wrote: a) remove ALL of those VCOMP_100.dll files which you downloaded.
b) reinstall the VC runtime. USE AN UP TO DATE INSTALLER.
I created an account just to say PROPS to neobrain. I was having this same problem, even though I had already installed the 2010 64bit Redistributable for C++. So I did a search in my Windows Reg folder for "vcomp100" and it was in a 32 bit folder for some reason, x86 all I did was deleted it, double checked to make sure I had SP1 and reinstalled the 64bit C++ and Dolphin booted up fine!
I know my post is late, and I didn't mean to bump up the thread sorry about that.
