That doesn't make sense. The 75x family (maxwell) is newer than the 76x family (kepler).

There is no way around it.
The real questions you should be asking yourself are:
"What am I willing to spend?"
and
"what do I want to get out of this?"
A 750 or 750 TI will probably handle 4x IR just fine. But do you want to use any AA? Do you do any PC gaming?
