It sounds like both you and your friends are desyncing. What settings are you using in Dolphin? Post them here as screenshots so we can take a look. Additionally, have you verified that both you and your friends are using the exact same settings?

And we made sure that we did have the same settings. But I will take a look again. Here are the screenshots. We are also using version 5.0 https://gyazo.com/96de306651435149bd384f7458f65ff7 https://gyazo.com/26656964848662b84d1fb5bd0efde7f7 https://gyazo.com/f21f9973da47d3bbd9f9c6470244483a https://gyazo.com/a4177efaf402864d741464a73ddbde6e https://gyazo.com/8cee0112bc9d718f61a2a9166ba8dfd7 https://gyazo.com/33284ae6055294c5129590e81d08793d 05-07-2018, 12:06 AM
What game(s) are you trying to play? Dual-core mode is supposed to be deterministic most of the time now, but some games use settings that can mess with it and cause desyncs. Try turning it off and see if that helps.

What if he has opengl and i have something different? Does that cause any problems?
You made sure that everyone is using the exact same game? I.e. your dumps should be 100% the same. Make sure your and your friends haven't done anything like try to trimming the game to reduce its size or anything, or have attempted to do any mods. Last but not least, make sure it's the same region (e.g. you shouldn't mix NTSC-U and PAL versions). It might be a good idea to have everyone grab the MD5 hash of their copies of Brawl and make sure each one matches (Dolphin can generate the MD5 hash, right-click the game in Dolphin's menu -> Properties -> Info -> Compute).
