Okay, I am currently working on a TAS project.

I can run games on Dolphin with no problems at all, but sometimes when I play back a DTM file, Dolphin messes up my inputs and the game does something completely different.
Any ideas on why this is happening? I mainly use a dolphin 4.0-xxxx build since they seem to have the least amount of problems on my PC.

I have also tried the latest build but I still experience the same issues!

If you're using a 4.0-development build, please specify the exact version. There were very many changes between 4.0 and 5.0.

Have you disabled dual core? If you haven't, it's very likely that the game will desync in the way you describe.

I'm currently testing on Dolphin 4.0-6554 and Dolphin 5.0!

I have disabled dual core! Most of the time my DTM is playing back with no issues, the only problem is I can only dump frames on low resolution since upgrading the resolution completely desyncs my input.

The resolution affects desyncs? Hmm... What are settings like Skip EFB Access from CPU or Copy EFB to Texture Only set to? It's possible that enabling them can prevent desyncs, but that's completely theoretical – I haven't heard of anyone doing it.

Skip EFB Access from CPU is currently off! I tried again with it enabled but I'm still having desync issues when increasing the resolution!

Actually, it worked! My inputs didn't mess up despite the game running slower than normal because of dumping frames.

If I run into any more issues I will be sure to report them.
