I had received this kind of error on both 5.0-5408 and 5.0-5209 in that order. 5408 had this problem every time I load any input recording, but for 5209 as of this post, this was the first time this error has occurred. When I mention the emulator, I'll be talking about 5209.
When I try to play a specific input recording ("specific" because I had previously made several recordings from the same game and they did not have any problems whatsoever), an error pops up saying "There is nothing to undo!", then after closing it, the emulator loads the save state the recording starts at and says that the save state was unable to load because it was "created on 5.0-5209", the exact same version I created it on. Keep in mind that the save state did in fact load, but no sound plays, and the recording becomes slightly desync'd. At some point during the recording, the game displays that "An error has occurred" screen, and the inputs continue playing.
The recording is for a GC game, and no memory card was inserted. Loading the recording's state without playing the actual recording does not cause this problem. I'd appreciate it if there is a way to fix this error without simply using a different version of Dolphin (and starting over), because the recording contained a fairly rare unexpected incident that is very hard to manipulate the game I played into doing.
