Hi everyone,

I'm trying to set up the player 2 controller. I went into config -> gamecube and set up port 1 and port 2, and also set up the two gamecube controllers at two different ports SDL/0 and SDL/1. They are both responsive in that menu. But when I start the game, p2 just doesn't do anything. What am I doing wrong? I've tried 3.5, 4.0 and 4.2 and none of the versions solve this problem. Thanks alot for your help.

Updating to the latest development version (from the Download link at the top of this page) should fix this problem for you, but if you don't want to do that, you can go to the menu Options > Configure > GameCube tab > Port 2 and change the pulldown menu to Standard Controller.

Hi skid,

I went to the options>configure>gamecube tab > port 2 to add in the standard controller but the p2 controller doesn't work.

I have no idea what that is. So I'm gonna say no. How do I turn this on?

Edit: Nevermind, I found the option. I'll try it once I get home. Thanks.

Edit2: It didn't make a difference. I enabled background input (which is a great option) but p2 still doesn't work. I don't know if anyone has used this, but I am using this adapter with Windows 7.

Maybe the adapter is bad? Or problems with using Windows 7?

Edit3: Nevermind. I got it to work. Double dash doesn't allow p2 to do anything other than select characters. Somewhere between the first time I tried it and all the fixes made it work. Thanks everyone!
