Not really.
A DX11 plugin would only be faster if you have a fast enough Graphics card to actually do DX11, see the problem there? Tongue
OpenGL and DX9 still have issues, those should be resolved first as any graphics card that can handle DX10 or DX11 can handle those well enough.

PCSX2 had good success with DX10/DX11 plugin.. They were able to emulate the GPU more correctly with all the capabilities of the new directx, plus they said it was faster. I don't know but perhaps Dolphin will have the same success with it. The only reason not to do it I guess is that it might be a waste of time since there are more important things to do like improving compatibility for example.

Remember - PS2 is different than Wii and it may not work that great on Dolphin.

Will be some time before DX10/DX11 plugin happens DX9 plugin still is relatively buggy especially for Intel users who currently have to wait till depth textures are redone for their chipsets till then every game apart from a few look horrible.

yeah they do have to fix things for intel users first with chipsets as many people have this because many people don't have enough money to buy better laptops or desktops or money to buy better parts

but i have directx11 so hopefully when that day comes emulating is a whole lot better than it is now
