I don't mean going to Nintendo's servers, but simulating them in a private server.
There are tons of modded private servers for Blizzard games, it would be a good idea to do something like that.
P2P would require perfect syncronisation between both clients (no random events) and works via controller signal updates.
Emulating the game's own networking method means letting the game update actors' (entities) states and their positional updates, just like those games do on the Wii.
Now, the reason of the low priority?
Dolphin needs PERFECT emulation and FULLSPEED on many rigs, something not yet achieved.
BTW
i OWN a WoW private server, i know how it works bud.
You using PvPgn? I once set up a Diablo 2 server (small one for the neighbourhood lol)
Ontopic
Yeah, emulating the servers would require to trick the games into believing the private server's adress is Nintendo's ip adress. (Or is it the way around)
