So basically my games are having this horrible pixelated light effect when i use resolutions above the Wii native. Is there an option i'm missing?

There is no fix for this. This is the effect of upscaling the bloom in this game when increasing IR. It may be possible to fix with a code like One More Try was doing, but I don't know if he or anyone else has ever attempted it for this game.

Have you tried this experimental build? It adds a min-size slider for scaling EFB copies to avoid scaling effects that shouldn't be scaled, like blooms.
https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-co...-fix-bloom It's a bit outdated, though. 10-04-2019, 03:54 AM

It would be nice if there was a one solution fix all in Dolphin for all games that use bloom. Bloom and DOF seems to always be a issue in emulators when running above Native Resolution, the issue is sad and it sucks!

I've always used 1080p as internal resolution and none of the Mario Galaxy games look like that, they look amazing, could be because I use a texture pack?

There can't be a one-size-fits-all solution to bloom as it's not like the console's GPU just had a bloom mode that Dolphin can detect and modify. Every game with bloom implemented bloom itself, so the details can be different for each game, and any solution is therefore different for each game.
