Pikmin 2 Crashing.

I have Pikmin 2 but it seems to crash after the cutscene right as it goes into gameplay..

Im not sure where to start..

Some things to note:
-Sometimes it freezes at the Nintendo screen
-Sometimes during the Cutscene when i start a new game it freezes and says "reading disc..." (usually crashes shortly after, or lags).
