Phantom rumble in GC controller

Question
I have an official GC controller connected to my PC via a MayFlash adapter. Everythign works fine until I open the Wiimote config window in Dolphin - that causes the rumble motor to kick on in my GC controller. The only way to shut it off is to exit Dolphin and unplug the GC controller.

This is particularly odd since I haven't been able to get rumble to work on my GC controller!

I installed the latest drivers from the MayFlash website but it didn't seem to do anything.

It might be relevant that I also have a MayFlash Dolphin Bar plugged in with a Wiimote synced to it.

Thanks

It's probably something going on with the drivers, rather than Dolphin. I have a Mayflash adapter with rumble configured and a DolphinBar and do not have this issue when connecting Wiimotes.

^^ correct. The reason it happens at that moment is that Dolphin inquires for rumble at that time. Your drivers have a "stay on" bug. Its been mentioned before. You need to get the latest drivers or give mayflash a shout and let them know the rumble motor does not shut off once its given a rumble command.

Thanks ulao. I assume GC controllers will work OK with Four Play, so I'll be patient Smile

LOL yeah, Raphael and I have the best code on the net for GC controller hands down. Please though, all credit goes to him as he has designed the core GC code.
