Yeah, I'm pretty sure newer remotes are less prone to this issue – my Skyward Sword-branded remote hasn't ever done this, IIRC, even with the same launch-era Nunchuks. You might be able to clean the port with something or bend some metal in there (or stuff in a shim) to make it stay in there tighter, but it's not a complete fix for what's ostensibly a port that's designed to let you quickly and easily plug things in and unplug them at the expense of having things stay plugged in...
