So I've been playing Project M on my MacBook Air and the frame rate seemed pretty good. When I started playing on my MacBook Pro it started running slower. In the main menu it would be at 3 fps but on the Air it would be at 60 fps. I checked to see if all of the settings were the same as the MacBook Air in Config and Graphics but it didn't make a difference. Please help!

Here are the specs for the MacBook Pro:

The Air has a dedicated GPU (the NVIDIA 320M) and your Pro does not (it's using the integrated Intel 3000 HD). I think that's why. Maybe not, the 320M is a pretty old GPU in the first place...

I think OatmealDome was right. Not because the intel GPU is that bad, more because the OSX driver lacks lots of features on it. IIRC some features we use fall back to CPU emulation, which is really really slow.
As far as I know, both the linux and the windows driver of this intel GPU are fine for dolphin, so there is no other choise but to blame apple here. So you may install windows via bootcamp to get an usful performance.

Yes old macs with dedicated GPU performs better than Intel HD 3000. I have 2008 MacBook with 9400m and I got 50 fps for projectM main menu.

Blame Apple Intel HD driver.
From France with love.
