Performance on newest MacBook Pros?

The latest 15" and 17" MacBook Pros have some very impressive specs, including 2.0/2.2GHz quad-core i7s as well as high-performance AMD graphics. From what I've heard, performance is incredible, but I wanted to know if anyone here got their hands on one and tried out Dolphin on it. Right now I have one with 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo and nVidia graphics, and performance is decent. In OS X I have to use OpenGL, and I can get about 98% speed in relatively lightweight games like Sonic 4. Games like Sonic Colors, especially in areas with embellished lighting like the title screen, I get about 50% speed. If I boot into Windows 7 and use DirectX, I can play lightweight games full speed, and more graphically-intense ones at 80%/90% speed.

From the specs alone it's obvious that Dolphin would run much better on a new one, but I would only consider upgrading my laptop if I could get word that most everything runs full speed within OS X (OpenGL renderer). Thanks in advance =]

Save a thousand bucks and don't get a Mac.
Dolphin performance will be better on Windows as well.

I have the 15" 2.2Ghz with the Radeon 6750m and after the 10.6.7 update I get full speed in OSX with Twilight Princess Wii (That's the only game I have unfortunately) at 1680x1050.

Now I just need to get a Wiimote to get passed the fishing part.

Wiimotes, like any other electronic, can break.
