recently,i downloaded dolphin build 3796 and when i play with per-pixel lighting on the textures are missing

It's an enhancement; not all games will be compatible. If it was working in an older build, bisect down to the build that broke the feature in that game.

This is happening to me, though not the random freezing, from build 4.0-3794 onwards.
The graphical glitch appears to occur in every game I've tried: Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Smash Bros. Melee and Project M.
