Hi all.

I would like to use per game settings (apparently it doesn't work yet via gui)
found a thread (https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-un...s-per-game)
but doesn't explain the basics.
what to name the file, which folder to place it etc.

Same goes for cheats
read this https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-dolphin-cheats, but no can do.
some of the basics are not there.

anyone knows how to make these two features work in android?
TY

All of dolphin files are in
/storage/emulated/0/dolphin-emu

Everything else isn't android related any more, so it should be named as on the desktop.

The file name is supposed to be the six letters of the game ID, or the first three letters of the game ID, followed by .ini as the file name extension. These files are to be placed in the GameSettings subdirectory of the dolphin-emu directory. Unfortunately, I don't think the Android versions of Dolphin lets you view game IDs. For now, you can look at the first six bytes of ISOs to get the game ID, or look it up online if you know the region of the game.

I use this all the time. you have to download the Windows version to get the GameSettings folder and put in the in the dolphin folder. There's hundreds of files so you'll need to use a good content search. Use the 3 letter file to do things like Melee Widescreen Hack with AR codes and real xfb in Project M and the six letter files to use AR codes like unlock all characters in Soul Calibur II.

Hope this helps.

You don't have to do that (since you can set settings manually instead), but it's a good idea since you'll get a lot of useful settings in one go.

No, please put all AR codes in the six-character files, not in the three-character files. This is because AR codes generally aren't compatible between different regions of a game.

Thanks for that.
I Installed the windows version and ound the option to create it's own config.
(for the ones who can't be bothered installing windows, the files will be on dolphin home folder dolphin-emu/GameSettings/*GAMEID*.ini)

One thing though, I can't get right is the use of cheats.

I enabled in Windows an AR code, by clicking on it's box.
all I get in the ini file is a $ line, shouldnt there be a code beneath it, like in the example in one of links above:

-----------------------------
[ActionReplay_Enabled]
$Mario UNLOCK EVERYTHING!
[ActionReplay]
$Mario UNLOCK EVERYTHING!
48000000 809C2140
DE000000 90009380
5A010000 00013D94
32000000 FFFFFFFF
14000000 FFFFFFFF
32000004 031FFFFC
14000004 031FFFFC
E0000000 80008000
----------------------------

If the above is correct, can I define whatever other cheat code with $ ?
--------------
basically, this is what I did for super paper mario EU, but seems to crash (using the settings from the Wiki)

EFBToTextureEnable = False
wideScreenHack = False
[ActionReplay_Enabled]
$Mario Widescreen
[ActionReplay]
$Mario Widescreen
C202F268 00000003
3DC08043 3DE03FD8
91EEC158 4E800020
60000000 00000000
0419B274 4E800020
