Hi, This may or may not be possible to do but im gonna ask anyway Smile

I use a GC controller adapter with dolphin, this works perfectly with GC games as you can imagine. The dilemma i have is when i am using the GC controller as a classic controller for Virtual Console games, mainly SNES games. I want to recreate the SNES controller button layout so the controls feel correct as they did back in the day when i had my SNES Smile

Is there a way using per game config to do this?

You would have to use some drivers outside of dolphin to make it like a PC controller as you can not reconfigure the GC adapter controls.

If you're using a Wii U mode adapter, then no. Otherwise, yes, you can do it by creating different profiles and switching between the profiles as described in https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-howto-using-gameini-settings-per-game

Though I'm not sure how you would want to map the buttons to make it feel like an SNES controller... I've personally given up on trying to play SNES games using GC controllers.

The button layout is wrong for Super Mario World for a start, well as far as i remember it is.....

Maybe i need to buy myself a SNES controller adapter or a USB Snes controller.......

Ill try switching the GC adapter to PC mode and see if i can make that work Smile

EDIT: Switching to PC mode worked perfectly Smile
