I was reminded about this game recently, and I remember wanting to try it out really badly when I was a kid and I read about it in Nintendo Power. (I've always been a big Disney fan.) I look up the game on TV Tropes, and find out that there's something like five different versions of the game, all of which are unique in some way, and many of them having unique level design. So, I went looking and got a hold of a number of different versions of the game: the Dreamcast version, PlayStation version, and GameCube version.

Played the Dreamcast version first, it was pretty good. PlayStation was kind of interesting, but not as many tweaks as I was expecting. Fired up the GameCube version, and found something really weird...

In the game, you usually have 2 HP. Full health, you play as "Happy Donald", with him acting pretty happy-go-lucky. Get hit once, and you become "Angry Donald", with all the temper issues we know and love. It changes all of the animations, and the speech as well.

The game runs perfectly except for one thing. Angry Donald's voice clips are warped to be much lower in pitch. I know he's supposed to be angry, but he sounds f***ing demonic! That's the only issue with the game, and it's only those particular sounds.

Normally, I would be asking what settings to adjust to fix it. However, it doesn't affect gameplay at all, it just makes Donald slightly horrifying. I'm just curious what part of emulation could cause this type of issue. Any ideas?
